Obituary of Guy Harless Meredith

Guy Harless Meredith age 89, of Wytheville, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was born in Virginia on April 27, 1933 to the late Guy Early and Opal Florence Horton Meredith. Guy was a Member of The Sunny Hills Church in Wytheville and a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie Goodwin Meredith; son, Clarence Wayne Meredith. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Dickie Copenhaver of Wytheville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Meredith of Wytheville; Three grandsons, Aaron Copenhaver and wife Beth of Powhatan, VA; Nick Meredith and Thomas Meredith of Wytheville; two great grandsons Michael and Colton Copenhaver of Powhatan, VA; two sisters, Linda Meredith of Woodlawn; Bonnie Johnson of Archdale, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 12 noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Grubb Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
