Obituary of Nancy Sue Sult Cregger

Nancy Sue Sult Cregger, age 91, of Wytheville received her heavenly wings on Saturday, April 15th, 2023. She was born August 19, 1931, to the late Walter Ray and Mabel Lewellyn Sult. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Friel Cregger, Sr.; one son, Friel Cregger, Jr.; four brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherrl Walters (Smitty) Wytheville, Teresa Edwards (Kelvin) Moneta, Va. Sharon Cregger, Terry Peak, Wytheville, and Lynn Cregger (daughters Jessie and Michelle) of Wytheville and one son Kenneth Cregger (Rhonda) Wytheville, Va.; several grandchildren, James Wise, Jr. (Mary Leigh), Kelvin Edwards, Jr., Jason Walters (Jeannie), Jana Walters, Jett, Hunter Kathryn and Eva Kendele Cregger. Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special neighbor and friend Kathleen "Katherine" Seagle. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Reverend Doug Silvers and Reverend Joe Mack Taylor, with interment to follow in Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until service time.
