Obituary of Janet Lockhart Riley

Janet Lockhart Riley, age 74, of Wytheville, passed away on May 3, 2023. She was born on June 3, 1948, to the late Edgar F. and Oda Mae Fisher Lockhart in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Scott Riley, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Jeannette and Milan Trosclair of GA; Audrey Riley of SC; son Eugene Scott Riley, Jr. of Wytheville; four grandchildren, T.J. Riley, Alexis Sayers, Cameron Chaney and Riley Trosclair; great granddaughter, Valynia Sayers and extended family also survive. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Grubb Funeral Home, conducted by Reverend Aubrey Whitlow with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
