Obituary of Franklin Eugene Rosenbaum

Franklin Eugene “Blue” Rosenbaum, age 77, of Wytheville, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023. He was born on October 14, 1945, to the late Robert Spangler and Ethal Virginia Copeland Rosenbaum. He was preceded in death by his six brothers and one sister. “Blue” was operator of the Cripple Creek Mill for 30 years. Survivors include his two brothers and sister-in-law, Howard D. Rosenbaum of Jacksonville, FL; Freddie and Daphane Rosenbaum of Cripple Creek; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Roger Rutherford of Rural Retreat; several nieces and nephews survive. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Eddie Fry officiating, interment to follow in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
