I am so saddened Phyllis' passing. She was such a good friend to me years ago. She made me feel at home in her presence and I will always cherish our friendship and remember her kindness And she made the very best cheese toast and macaroni salad. I love you Phyllis. Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. I loved Phyllis like a sister. We had the best time working together at the bank. Never remember her without a smile. Will always remember our good food, especially her macaroni salad, and our many laughs and giggles. If there is anything we can do, please ask. J.W. and family,
Phyllis was my 2nd cousin on her mom's side. Although I wasn't around her much over the years, when I was, she was honestly one of the sweetest people I've ever know. Genuine smiles and love radiated from her and I was always looked forward to her presence. My love and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Phyllis and I were childhood friends in Cripple Creek. We both were born in September so we were always in school together. I remember Phyllis as well as others in her family. My brothers, Dave and Donnie, were good friends with her brothers. I remember Phyllis as a friend that would help you when needed, and she was always ready to laugh with you. Guess I remember that the most - Phyllis was happy and liked to laugh! I knew that she loved her family and was so proud of them. I will miss her. Always wanted to visit in recent years, but time got away from me.

Phyllis was a mom. She was a mom to three boys but a mom to all of us. We grew up in her yard, in her basement, in her church and in her heart. She was momma’s dearest friend at the bank. I can only imagine the chatter in heaven as they catch up! I loved her so much! She was the best part of my childhood. I will hold you all in my thoughts and lift you up in prayer. This is not easy but there has to be a reason or plan. I love you all so much!!
