Uncle Herman, you were a wonderful man. Your family loved you so much. Your devotion to Elizabeth was the most touching gesture I have ever seen. You will be missed for a very long time. I know you are with Elizabeth, Ed and C.J and your mother. I will miss talking to you. Rest assured those great-grandsons will proudly carry on your legacy. Granddaddy will have ice cream cones everyday. Get the crap table out...it's been a long time! Love, Barbara

Prayers and comfort to Herman's entire family. Herman's life reflected his hard work and good nature. He brought convenience to our neighborhood. I spent much of my yard mowing money at Dillion's IGA as a boy and Herman was always so kind. His family means a lot to my family.
