So shocked and saddened by losing my friend. Bertha was a special lady. She was quick witted and could make you feel better about anything. She always looked on the bright side of things. All the Friday nights of crab leg dinners, boy didn’t we have a good time? We could have a good time just sitting in a boat, it didn’t have to be moving! I will always remember out trip to California and how we became quick friends. We had so much in common. Fishing in Lake Placid, or Lake Okeechobee even Claytor Lake we could have a great time. I am going to miss you so much! We still had a lot to do! I love you and will never forget you sweet friend.

Birdie was a wonderful person. I have only known her for a short time, here at Lake Placid Campgroudn, but the time we spent together talking was fun. She checked in on me everyday that my husband was in the hospital. I will miss her and Archie very much. RIP Birdie Ray and Joan Kasicki

Vickie, Terri, Shirley, Nancy and George I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories with Bertha sharing a room in Winston Salem when we took Ben to Wake Forest, we shared many laughs. My prayers go out to all of you. You have many memories. She was fun to be around. Love Cookie Hayes
